SMU Senior Graduation Photos | Reeth Magoo

Southern Methodist University (SMU) has one of the most beautiful campuses in the U.S. In fact, Conde Nast said “SMU’s campus is a tranquil, leafy spot in Dallas, and it’s famous for vast lawns, where faculty sometimes hold classes.” In 2015, The Princeton Review ranked SMU No. 2 on its list of the nation’s most beautiful campuses, according to its guide, “The Best 380 Colleges.” So when Reeth asked me to take her SMU senior graduation photos, I was ecstatic to get to do a photo session on this pretty campus — right in the heart of Dallas!

There are so many amazing photo spots on SMU campus. This includes Dallas Hall (an iconic and historic building), the fountain, and the beautiful manicured lawns and trees. Dallas Hall also has great steps that make the perfect photo opp. We also took photos in front of the “Dedman College” sign, with Dallas Hall in the backdrop. It was an overcast and cloudy winter day, but I loved how the photos turned out!

Reeth graduated in December 2022 with a philosophy degree. She plans on spending the spring semester post grad in the UK with her extended family. After that, she is beginning law school in fall 2023. I had so much fun getting to know her and we had a blast taking photos around campus.
