Lumen Room Plano Newborn Photos | Baby Madeline
I’m finally getting around to blog photos from this special Plano newborn session! Back in September, I took Karen and Andrew’s maternity photos at Adriatica Village. A few weeks later, baby Madeline was born and I got the opportunity to take these precious photos of her at only two weeks old!
Not only was this my first newborn shoot, but it was also my first studio shoot! We went to The Lumen Room in Plano. As a photographer, I got so excited about the white walls and floors that the space provided. There are also great amenities at this location, including plenty of backdrops and furniture options. This is a great location for a newborn shoot, especially since we had complete control of the noise and temperature. It worked out extremely well on this rainy day!
The little outfits that Karen picked for baby Madeline are adorable, from her tutu to the little bows in her hair! The whole time, I could not get over her little movements and yawns…and of course her tiny little feet. It was also so much fun hearing about Karen and Andrew’s experience as new parents. Though sleep deprived, you can tell how much they adore their daughter. It’s so special seeing this family grow!
Newborn photos are a precious way to document a baby’s life. The key to a smooth session is booking in advance and finding a time when the baby is happy, sleepy and well-fed (typically mornings). That way, they’re less fussy and we can get those adorable lifestyle shots that are treasured forever.
