One of my favorite things to photograph are proposals! They are such an exciting and celebratory milestone. I also love seeing the look on the girl’s face when he pops the question!
My husband always comes with me to be my second photographer for proposals. That way, we can capture the moment from multiple angles. When we reached the proposal site for Elizabeth and Tim at White Rock Lake, we were in awe with the beautiful picnic backdrop that Polished Parties put together. The whole setup was gorgeously arranged and the perfect spot for a romantic Dallas proposal!
Once Tim and Elizabeth arrived, my husband and I went in opposite directions to get the shots from both sides. Since the parking lot was right in front of the picnic spot, there weren’t too many places to hide. Luckily, a couple of cars were parked so I could duck between shots — true paparazzi style! There was even someone sitting in one of the cars I was hiding behind who was so kind and helped make sure I got the angles I needed.
The best part? Elizabeth didn’t see me or Alvin at all the whole time! They were able to enjoy their charcuterie board, serenade, a romantic walk and of course, the final proposal without noticing the camera. Afterwards, we got to celebrate with them with a mini-engagement session and celebratory pics with their families. Here’s what Elizabeth had to say about the experience:

Stacy and her husband, Alvin, are so incredibly sweet and fun to work with! They captured so many amazing photos of my fiancé proposing to me while being discrete and hidden the entire time. I never once noticed them until it was all over! They both worked super hard to get the best shots for us and definitely made us feel at ease. I would absolutely recommend Stacy to anyone who wants any kind of photo shoot done. She has such a loving personality and the photos came out beautifully! Thanks so much for capturing these moments for us, Stacy!
