It’s time to share photos from Karen and Andrew’s DFW maternity photo shoot! They’re expecting their first baby in October (so soon!!), and are eagerly awaiting for her arrival.
When Karen reached out to me to do a maternity photo shoot for her and her husband, I could not be more excited. This was my first time doing maternity photos. I loved being able to capture such an exciting and joyful moment of just the two of them before little girl comes into the world!
We decided to do the maternity photos at Adriatica Village, a beautiful European-style community located in McKinney, Texas. The whole session, we couldn’t get over how quaint everything was. It was like stepping into a new country with the cobblestone streets and unique architecture. There were so many places to shoot from, including the Bella Donna chapel, a massive green lawn and a nice spot right next to some office buildings.
During the shoot, we got to talking about her pregnancy and what it’s been like since they moved to DFW from Houston just a few weeks ago! They’re setting up the nursery and taking birthing classes soon. Baby girl loves to play soccer games in Karen’s belly at 2 a.m. They are just the sweetest couple, and I know they’re going to be such amazing parents!
Karen and Andrew also brought the cutest props to include during the session. We got amazing shots of the baby’s shoes, the ultrasound picture, the funniest onesie (Lil Dumpling is my wrap name… how adorable!) and a cute baby book.
I love how these photos came out and cannot wait to shoot their photos again in October once the baby is born!
Are you looking to do maternity photos in DFW? Reach out to me today and I’d be happy to help capture your joyful moment!
